Martin Thurley has announced he is resigning after seven years as MD of Liniar to be succeeded by Edgetech’s Chris Alderson, who becomes president of owner Quanex’s newly formed European Fenestration Division.
This division will encompass all Quanex businesses in the UK and Europe, including Liniar, Edgetech UK, and Edgetech Europe GmbH.
Chris said: “While it’s business as usual currently, we will be working to maximise the opportunities now available through the consolidated group. We have a dedicated and talented team and I am excited for the future.
“I would like to thank Martin for his support during the transition over the next few weeks and for his service in creating a market-leading business that I am now proud to be a part of.”
