Endurance Doors has appointed Tom Stephens as its operations manager

In a new role created by wider management restructuring.

Tom began his career in engineering, working as an apprentice for Mercedes Benz where he was involved in developing and maintaining engines used by Formula 1 racing teams including Mercedes McLaren, Force India, and Williams.

During his time at Mercedes, Tom gained exposure to the brand’s manufacturing operations and was drawn to this business area, subsequently spending the next decade and a half in different manufacturing leadership and managerial roles.

This included eight years at Mira Showers where he was responsible for the company’s production plant and a team of 100 employees. More recently and immediately prior to joining EnduranceÆ Doors, Tom was head of production at Willerby – the UK’s largest manufacturer of static caravans, holiday homes and lodges.

Managing director Stephen Nadin said: “His appointment is one of a number we’ve made recently as we look to deepen and extend our managerial capabilities in line with business growth.

“These strategic hires will enable us to focus on further expansion whilst maintaining the high levels of product quality, innovation and customer service that have become synonymous with the Endurance Doors’ brand.”
