Sternfenster has been shortlisted in four categories at this year’s G-Awards – Training and Development of the Year, Sustainability Initiative of the Year, Unsung Hero of the Year, and Rising Star of the Year.

“Sternfenster is a forward-thinking dynamic business that invests in all areas of the business,” said Managing Director Mike Parczuk.

“This is evident in the awards we have been shortlisted for, which demonstrate how we put our people at the heart of everything we do, while developing leading sustainability initiatives for the future.

But he added: “I want to congratulate the whole team here at Sternfenster, because these shortlisted entries only scratch the surface of the hard work and commitment they show each and every day to make the best products with the best service for our customers.”

In October 2022, Sternfenster achieved IIP Gold, something only 23% of assessed businesses globally can claim. The company has now embarked on its ‘Pursuit for Platinum’, which – if achieved – will put it in the top 3% of all IIP-assessed companies.

“Making tomorrow better than today is a fundamental value at Sternfenster, and one that underpins training and development within the company,” Mike said. “It helped us achieve IIP Gold, and will support us on the IIP Platinum journey, which is our next milestone in 2025.”

Technical Support Specialist Kev Wallis has been shortlisted for the Unsung Hero of the Year award, while Retail Operations Manager Brent Tromp is a finalist in the Rising Star of the Year category.

“Both Kev and Brent have made outstanding contributions to the success of both Sternfenster and the retail division Starglaze,” Mike said. “It is an absolute privilege to see them shortlisted for the G-Awards.
