A diplomatic solution
For an industry based largely on white plastic rectangles, it’s fair to say that the ongoing battle of Safestyle v Safeglaze is as near to high drama as things can get. So it is with some sense of anti-climax that we see things looking set to end diplomatically (let’s not go too far and say amicably) with the deal agreed between the two warring sides.
Of course, all joking aside, it will be very much a sense of relief to those closer to the fight as the fall and rise of the share price has reflected. At least, all our recent ‘me-too’ hints have not gone to waste now that Safestyle’s original founder, Mitu Misra has been officially identified as the driving force behind the upstart challenger.
