‘Champion’ finalist

Jake Hodgkinson, fabrication supervisor at BENNETT ARCHITECTURAL has been named as a finalist for the Rising Star category at the Manufacturing Champions Awards which recognises ‘a young member of staff who goes beyond the call of duty in their role and has shown clear progression.’

Jake joined Bennetts in 2015 and was promoted to supervisor in the fabrication team within 18 months and has since overseen large scale projects including Abcam Bio-Medical Campus and the Grange University Hospital.

Managing Director Lionel Grant said: “Jake has shown a level of desire and commitment since joining Bennett Architectural and was truly deserving of his promotion to Supervisor.”

Production manager Rob Derricott added:
“Jake applies himself fully and utilises the strengths of his team to get the best from them whilst promoting a conscientious and enjoyable working environment.”

The Manufacturing Champions Awards take place at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on 6th December.
