BLACK MILLWORK has redesigned its Aluminium Clad Casement windows into a slimmer profile in response to demand from housebuilders for more minimalist designs.
The windows deliver U-values as low as 0.6W/m2K – lower than the Passivhaus standard of 0.8W/m2K.
General manager Gary Hutton said: “We have already had a lot of interest since we introduced the upgraded product a few weeks ago. In fact, one of our customer’s was so impressed he has already changed his plans for an ongoing renovation and has now specified the new windows throughout the project.”
Product samples are available to view at the company’s Burton-on-Trent showroom along with other recent portfolio additions including updates to the Andersen A-Series range and new bi-fold doors. The windows are also on display at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre (NSBRC) in Swindon.
The Aluminium Clad Casement windows are manufactured from knot-free, engineered Baltic pine and completed with aluminium-clad exteriors. They come with a Winlock multipoint locking mechanism and an extensive warranty as standard.
