A true pioneer
If any one person can be said to be the pioneer of PVC-U fenestration it must be Heinrich Laumann, whose death at the age of 89 we record today. As the founder of Veka, his influence goes far beyond even that global industry leader because, as his peers have often said since, it took not only entrepreneurial spirit but also an unwavering faith in a concept that many at the time dismissed as crazy. There were of course others at that frontier but there is little doubt even they would acknowledge his lead in promoting the product the whole world now takes for granted. Read Story
