‘From client to subcontractor’

Mark Crane has been appointed as Commercial Director of Chelmsford based commercial window and door installer The Window Company (Contracts).

Mark has made the switch from client to sub-contractor, having spent many years as a surveyor with the Apollo Group and more recently as a regional director with Keepmoat Regeneration, where he worked regularly with the installer.

He plans to build particularly on the company’s community engagement, and he is already planning new initiatives which will see the award-winning installer increase the apprenticeships it offers in the local areas where it operates and step up its involvement in community support programmes.

Mark said of his new role: “Clients who choose to work with The Window Company (Contracts) know that they will be getting the best of both worlds – an SME specialist which is agile enough to respond to the changing demands of virtually any project but one who also fully appreciates their commitments and their expectations.”
