Second US factory planned

Press Glass, Inc. the US subsidiary of Press Glass Group of Poland, is seeking consent to build its second US factory, on a 26,000sqm site in Henry County, Virginia, close to its existing plant in Stoneville, North Carolina.

It is expected that preparatory works will finish and building works begin towards the end of 2018. The estimated time of the plant commissioning is the end of 2019. The value of the investment, which will be supported with American grants, amounts to.

The plant is aimed to be built at a cost USD 43.5 million including US grants, will have a workforce of about 200. The plant in Stoneville will also be modernised.

The plant will be the thirteenth glass processing plant in the Press Glass Group.
