Stay in the loop

Imagine checking in at work on a Wednesday morning and having nothing but a blank expression when colleagues say ‘Hey, have you heard about…’. The truth is that, thanks to the GDPR regs that come into force on Friday (May 25) The Glazine, along with every other online news magazine, may only be emailed to people who click to ‘re-subscribe’. Meanwhile, we hope you enjoy this week’s issue.

GGF issues ‘tough times’ statement after McAllister departure

The GGF today responded to last week’s sudden departure of its managing director Shaun McAllister with a statement from its president, John Agnew, speaking of ‘progress during tough times.’

The statement, which makes no reference by name to the ex MD or any other of the recently departed senior figures, speaks of the organisation’s long-term strategic plan and continues:

“As with any significant structural change in an organisation, it is inevitable that staff will join and leave during the transition. It is unfortunate that some personnel decided to leave and also disappointing that some appointments haven’t worked out the way the GGF Board had initially expected.
