£3million in three years

OAKLAND GLASS has recently completed a three-year £3m investment programme.

Managing Director Tina Moorhouse explained: “We have invested £3m over the last three years in all parts of the business. We’ve extended our manufacturing facility by another 9,500sq ft, taking us to a total size of 45,000sq ft, we’ve added new vehicles including a 7.5 tonne lorry and long-wheelbased van in the last 12 months, we’ve reduced waste in the factory, upgraded and added machinery including a new cutting line, and invested in people. We now have five production lines running every day, but can double up if we ever need to, so have built in capacity for future growth too.”
