Patio for pampered pooches

The residents of a new VIP dog hotel in Coleraine, Co Londonderry, have the added luxury of patio doors, thanks to Patiomaster Ireland and local installer Derryork Windows.

Ian Eccles, owner of Alpha 1 Dog Hotel, which officially opened last month explained the choice. “Dog homes can often be unappealing, with dogs peering through the bars of their kennels. I wanted to use patio doors so the dogs in our VIP suites would have a clear, open look out that felt much more homely.”

Ian had first assumed he was looking for aluminium doors before speaking to Derek Morrow of the family-owned Derryork Windows, he added: “I was amazed by the colour options and versatility of the PatioMaster doors.”

Ian of Alpha 1 Dog Hotel opted for PatioMaster patio doors in Anthracite Grey. The doors are even in a range of sizes to suit the various breeds of future guests.

Christine Gaw of PatioMaster Ireland said: “When we were approached by Derryork Windows regarding this unique project, we were very excited as this is the first project of its kind for us and demonstrates the versatility of the PatioMaster sliding patio door.”
