Safestyle reveals Birmingham-Misra loan/share deal

The name of Safestyle founder and former owner Mitu Misra emerged again in the company’s affairs this week. It came in a formal statement telling shareholders that Steve Birmingham, Safestyle executive director and until recently its CEO, in 2014 borrowed £1,555,556 from Misra with over 1,555,556 Safestyle shares as security. It continues that Birmingham paid off the loan in full with cash raised by sale of his own shares in December 2017.
