North West win

ALUFOLDDIRECT has been named Manufacturing Company of the Year 2018 (under £25m) at the Made in the North West awards, and will now go forward to the Made in the UK awards final in June.

Managing Director Craig Miller said: “Our company motto ‘That’ll do, won’t do’ along with our two-week delivery promise and commitment to right first-time manufacturing means that installers get the products they need, when they need them, ready to fit onsite. I’m glad that this hard work has been recognised by the award judges.”

The Made in the North West awards were held at The Lowry Hotel in Salford Entries for the awards were up 50 percent on 2017 and the award judges praised AluFoldDirect’s commitment to training, saying: “AluFoldDirect has overcome the world of skills shortages by upskilling its staff.”

The Made in the UK final will be held at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on 20 June 2018.
