Press grows in USA

Press Glass SA, the Polish-based manufacturer has announced that its sister company Press Glass NA has acquired 100% of the share capital of Glass Dynamics Inc of North Carolina.

The $18million turnover company primarily serves the South Eastern states, producing 1.6million sqft of glass units and single glass a year from a 100,000sqft facility.

Press Glass NA was formed last year as the company’s brand in the USA.

The parent company made its first major inroad into the UK in 2015 with the acquisition of the 50,000+ units/week Glass Systems (Read Story), which earlier this year added to its three UK factories with the purtchase of two sites from Pilkington (Read Story).
