‘Business as usual’ as CorpAcq acquires Shepley
4th April 2017

Shepley, said to be the UK’s biggest exclusive Rehau fabricator, has undertaken a management-led acquisition with CorpAcq Ltd, which has purchased all Shepley shares for an undisclosed sum.

Former Sales Director Ian Griffiths, who becomes Managing Director, says the move means ‘Business as usual for Shelpey’ in keeping with CorpAcq’s philosophy of keeping the identity and culture of businesses it buys.

Tony Ball succeeds him as Sales Director and Lindsey Roden is Finance Director. Outgoing MD Tim Walker and Operations Director Tony Fry, remain on hand to offer support.

Ian Griffiths said “Careful consideration went into choosing CorpAcq, who we believe is the ideal fit for Shepley. We wanted a partner with whom we could maintain our independence. CorpAcq is a local company based down the road in Altrincham and it invests in successful companies for long-term growth.”

“So, it’s business as usual for Shepley. We will continue to develop the successful business plan that has been in place for the past nine years to deliver high quality products and fast reliable service to customers.”

CorpAcq was best known recently for its sale of Vista Panels to Eurocell in a £7.1million deal last year.
