Back to school

Returning from the summer break has that back to school feel about it. It’s almost like we have a second ‘new start’ to the year. Even those company directors and sales managers who may not have taken time off over the summer should be gearing up for the new term as potential and existing customers return from holiday.

Veka Amulet Composite Doors

It is possible that the stretching summer provided enough of a mental barrier for those fabricators delaying the WER ratings they need to be compliant come October 1. Will we see a rush to get products rated now that we have a clear run to autumn?

We can also start looking forward to the exhibitions that must surely be a draw for anyone looking to finally putting the recession behind them, including: G10 at Wembley; Glasstec; and Glassex. There are also the G10 Awards that will follow the Regional Exhibition at Wembley; even with economic woes playing heavily on people’s minds, the evening last year was an absolute belter – book your table now before they all get snapped up. Read story here.
