Countdown to Glassex 2005
In its 25th year, Glassex seems destined to carry on forever by continuing to reinvent itself, or rather by matching - and sometimes pre-empting - market trends. Over the years the focus of the show has changed many times, in the early 80s it was dominated by sealant technology for the emerging i.g. market; then it was the turn of the PVC-U profile and conservatory roof sectors. In recent years, the focus has moved downstream to represent the fabricating sector, while, as always, providing a launchpad for new products from the glass, machinery and hardware markets.
