This week we have more response to both email strands currently running, which shows that the pinking issue is still as contentious as ever, nearly a decade after the event, and that the BWF's take on British Standards has stirred up something of a hornet's nest.
Finally,
we have an article from Derek Dragten, marketing manager of Saint Gobain,
about the suggested inclusion of the BFRC Window Energy Rating System
in the proposed amendment to Part L. The contentious issue here is the
method of calculation which, according to Derek, exaggerates the significance
of solar gain in the equation.
