A Quiet Week in The Silly Season
Judging from our inbox this week, and the number of 'Out of Office' messages we received from last week's Gl@zine, the UK business world has ground to a halt. Perhaps everyone was watching the Olympics, which apart from a few blips, finally expressed the Olympian Spirit very well. The event itself was successfully managed by Greece (with a little help from the US 6th Fleet patrolling in Piraeus harbour!), which should surprise no-one as the Greeks probably invented hospitality.
