Nippon Sheet Glass Co Ltd (NSG) yesterday resolved to proceed with a recommended cash acquisition of the entire issued share capital of British glass maker, Pilkington plc to make it a wholly owned subsidiary of NSG. Ultraframe Plc has been advised that the Ohio Court of Appeal has refused its Four Seasons business permission to appeal, in the Ohio Supreme Court, an adverse jury verdict dating back to September 2004. Kåre Wetterberg is leaving Sapa after 32 years in the company. Wetterberg has held several senior management positions, such as head of Sapa in Germany, head of operations at the Vetlanda plant and, in the last two years, as CEO of the entire Group. Lennart Evrell will succeed him as CEO.
