Timber doorset manufacturers Hanson and Beards has achieved the BM Trada Q-Mark for enhanced security doorsets, as a vital part of its Secured by Design certification.

The company has developed the ‘Anosecure’ FD30 doorset – targeting apartment entrance locations – to meet both the BM Trada Q-Mark and SBD scheme requirements. Director Adrian Hanson said: “Achieving Q-Mark has brought additional benefits to the company. Customers may now purchase more of their door and doorset requirements from a single source, with enhanced security and SBD certification high on the list of priorities. The Q-Mark gives independent assurance of quality and consistency in manufacture to our clients, especially in the public sector.”
