Whs Halo adds to top team

WHS Halo is strengthening support to fabrication customers in trade, retail and public sector markets.

Elaine Beney, who has been with WHS Halo for 13 years, has been appointed to the new post of commercial director, and will oversee support to the sales functions and customers, across all market sectors. She will also help marketing and the new product development programme.

WHS Halo has also appointed Richard Garland, who has been with the company for 14 years, to the position of sales director, public sector and commercial markets, to drive the company’s growth in these two markets. He will also continue to lead business development for Bowater Windows & Doors.

Shane Gray, who joined WHS Halo 23 years ago, has been appointed to the position of logistics director.

Announcing these additions to the top team, chief executive Joanne Holland said: “The general economy and the window market are facing tough times and that means management teams have to think and act differently if they are going to prosper. We cut our cloth to fit late last year and continue to streamline our business so we are strong and profitable. That means we are in good shape to give our customers what they need, which is a very efficient, highly competitive service built on technically excellent products.”
