Universal partnership with Duraflex

Profile bending company, Universal Arches, has just agreed a partnership deal with Masco UK Window Group including Duraflex, which includes a three-year supply agreement with Griffin Windows, Cambrian Windows and Premier Trade Frames.

The group had brought the specialist operations of profile bending and forming in-house at Duraflex, but felt that Universal’s greater expertise and experience would better support their own customer base.

Wayne Devine, CEO of Masco UK Window Group, said: “We have a world-class production facility at Duraflex but felt our expertise in extrusion is where we should focus, and outsource the specialist arch bending needs. We leave that to the experts, which clearly Universal are.”

Leon Day, managing director of Universal said: “We’ve pulled together a great deal for both parties, a true partnership and I’m delighted for Universal Arches to be associated with Masco. We’ll be … looking to extend our close relationship with the remaining Duraflex fabricators over the coming months.”
