Total sales increase
Total Group – one of the UK’s leading pvcu and aluminium window and door fabricators – has reported a sales rise of nearly 25%. Turnover increased by 24.5% from Feb 2008 to Jan 2009, compared to the previous year, despite the toughening economic climate.
The Liverpool-based company achieved its impressive results through a combination of growth across its trade, aluminium, ancillary and commercial divisions and a proactive approach to new business.
The company claimed that customer growth was also driven by increasing numbers of companies ceasing fabrication and opting to buy-in frames, and an additional 42 employees were recruited to keep up with demand.
“We are delighted with this achievement and it’s fair to say we are bucking the general trend in the industry,” said sales and marketing Mmanager, Stuart Waring. “Throughout 2009, we will be launching new products and services to ensure our customers can capitalise on the sales opportunities that still exist.
Growth plans for 2009 include new product ranges such as energy-efficient A rated windows, bi-folding and composite doors, a customer website creation service and recruiting area sales managers to further expand trade sales.
