Swisspacer continues growth
Warm edge supplier Swisspacer grew sales in the UK in 2008 by 300%.
“We will overtake the total amount of linear metres sold in 2008 by the end of March,” said marketing and sales manager Peter Appel. “This is because the market for warm edge products is growing as homeowners demand energy efficient windows, and sealed unit manufacturers and window fabricators turn to Swisspacer to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Companies looking to use warm edge want to have the best.”
Sales of the top performing Swisspacer V have grown dramatically worldwide. In 2007 it accounted for 7% of Swisspacer’s total sales. In 2008 it grew to 13% of sales and in the first quarter of 2009 it was 26%. In March it accounted for 37% of sales.
Swisspacer is also exhibiting at the 13th International Passivhaus Conference and Exhibition in Frankfurt from April 17-19. Exhibitors represent suppliers which provide products that reach the top standards for energy-efficient building through high quality and innovative technology.
