Network Veka in the stars

Window fabricator Gemini UPVC and system supplier Veka helped meet a new-build demand for a unique colour combination for the windows.

MD Projects (NW) was the builders on the development in Brockhall Village, Lancashire. It specified grey foil out/white in, for the 100-plus windows in the three luxury homes.

“We knew the grey/white was an unusual request but it was no problem at all for Veka,” said Gemini’s Michael Griffiths. “The result is a happy customer and a superb-looking development.”

PVC Solutions (Installations) of Accrington is a regular Gemini customer and installed the windows on the project.

“We’ve been working with Gemini for years,” said Steve Hacking, MD of PVC Solutions (Installations). “We find that homeowners prefer the more decorative, fully sculptured appearance of the Veka Matrix FS to the much plainer alternatives.”

There were around 100 windows and french doors along with three composite doors in matching Anthracite grey installed into the three houses, combining style with quality.

The Veka frames were combined with high-spec, low-e glass and a Super Spacer Bar from Edgetech, to create superior energy efficiency.
