Highseal hits A rating

Highseal Windows is the latest Spectus fabricator to achieve an A energy rated window under the BFRC scheme. Based in North Lincolnshire, Highseal achieved the rating using Spectus Elite 70 frames with low-iron and low-E glass. “With five chambers and a 3mm outer wall thickness, Elite 70 frames are ideal for energy efficient windows,” says Neil Donaldson, Highseal’s managing director.

Duncan Douglas, sales and marketing director of Spectus, said the highest A rating will help Highseal’s customers stand out from the crowd, win new business and maintain high margins. “With energy rated windows, fabricators and installers can tap into the growing green market – one of the few opportunities left in the downturn.”

Neil Donaldson added: “We’re offering the A rating in response to demand from both public and private sectors, and already have several leads since its launch. It’s the latest addition to our product range, which includes Spectus’ Elite 70 Ovolo and Elite 70 Bevelled, one of the most complete and flexible pvcu window systems on the market.”
