New vertical sash for The Window Sash CompanyThe Window Sash Company has recently added Eurocell’s vertical sliding sash window to its range. The company, which is based in Havant, Hampshire, supplies and fits vertical sliding windows, as well as composite and bi-fold doors, for commercial and residential customers and has more than 19 years of industry experience. Eurocell’s vertical sliding window offers improved fire safety because, at the touch of a button, the sashes can be quickly folded inwards and down on top of each other. This helps the window comply with general provisions outlined in Building Regulations Part B (Fire safety) - as long as a window has an unobstructed opening area that is at least 0.33m2, 450mm high and 450mm wide, it is deemed sufficient as a means of escape in the event of a fire. The Sash Window Company’s new vertical sliding window has an anti-jemmy bar to provide security and protection from break-ins. A triple seal achieves outstanding results for draught proofing when compared to other vertical sliding systems, providing homeowners with better thermal efficiency. The slide-and-tilt mechanism also allows access to the outer panes, making them easy to clean and maintain from inside a building. The Window Sash Company Eurocell |
