Seminars now at Aluminium Open HouseThe Elumatec Aluminium Open House exhibition will now feature a seminar programme that will review key issues facing fabricators in this key sector of the glazing market. Organised by Alan Fielder of Edgetech, who is now also exhibiting at the event which takes place on May 12-14 at Elumatec’s Milton Keynes headquarters, a compact programme will take place each day either side of lunch in four 30-minute sessions, each designed to deliver maximum information concisely and effectively. With the final programme to be confirmed, the Open House Sessions are likely to include: High Performance Glass – Susan Lambeth, Saint-Gobain Glass A further session is planned to look at marketing opportunities for aluminium glazing in the commercial and public sectors. Phil Heavey, managing director of hosts Elumatec said that the objective is to provide a comprehensive look at the opportunities presented by aluminium: “The aluminium window and glazing related sector is comparatively buoyant but there is a great deal more out there for fabricators to take advantage of. We want our visitors to come along in May and leave having a clear strategy not only for processing aluminium frames but also how to make the most of market opportunities. We will have the very best people in the industry to help people achieve that.” Twenty exhibitors will provide visitors with a ‘one-stop-shop’ of production systems, tools and machinery to choose from, for start-up enterprises to established fabricators seeking efficiencies and increased output. 01908 580800 |
