Omega Group predicts growth in 2009

Peterborough based trade fabricator, the Omega Group, is predicting strong growth in 2009. The company has enjoyed a 29% increase in sales in the last twelve months and has expanded its product offering for 2009.

“While many of our competitors are cutting costs and reducing investment, Omega is investing in growth” explains MD Rob Morley. Now in its 25th year, Omega launched an aluminium division in early 2008 to offer trade customers a wider product choice, and has now introduced a new composite door range under the brand “British Security Door” brand.

Rob continues “We are bullish about the future - if companies want to buck the trend they need to have to invest in their business and their customers - that’s exactly what we’ve done. Not just with great new products, but in customer service and deliveries too – we’ve just invested £120,000 on a new fleet of Iveco trucks, for example.”

The three 7.5 tonne trucks have 24 ft bodies and a tail lift for easy loading and unloading. The first truck arrives before Christmas and the new fleet will be sign-written with the well known “British Security Window” branding to support Omega’s dealer network.

“2009 is going to be a tough year, and installers need a supplier behind them who is prepared to invest to support them.
