GLASSEX SUCCESS LEADS TO RETURN FOR INTERPANE
Glassex 2009 will see Interpane Glas Industrie AG return to the NEC with a host of innovative products for the UK fenestration market. The company, with headquarters in Germany, is one of the world’s most influential flat glass processors, with eleven production facilities in Europe. Interpane proved its worth as a company to be reckoned with at last year’s joint exhibition with GP&T, when it was awarded the Glassex Best New Product Award 2008 for innovation, for its new triple insulating glass iplus 3CL.
“We are proactively making very strong inroads into the UK market, with a newly opened UK office and a much greater presence,” comments General Manager at Interpane, Alan Hartland. “Glassex 2008 was a seminal event for us – it represented the long overdue consolidation of all disciplines within the glass and glazing industry and winning the award demonstrated the readiness of the UK market to embrace new products and new technology.”
In today’s climate, the emphasis is upon cost efficiency and value for money and this is where Interpane scores over its competitors. “The industry wants products that work to provide a cost effective glazing solution,” continues Alan. “We not only offer this through our product range, but also through our consultancy role, a facility we offer to our customers whereby we advise on an individual project from start to finish. This is only possible through the technical ability of our staff and the technical capacity of our production capabilities to provide solutions to architect’s requirements.”
Glassex 2009 will witness the most advanced product range to be launched by the company to date, including high reflective glass and speciality solar control glass. “Glassex 2008 gave us a unique opportunity to target and communicate with key people in the industry and to show them what we are about,” concludes Alan. “Glassex 2009 is the ideal medium for us to establish new contacts and attract new, key and targeted customers.”
Glassex 2009 will be held on 17-19 March at the NEC, Birmingham and is the only exhibition dedicated to the UK glass and glazing markets. Featuring the best in doors, windows, conservatories, manufacturing technology, insulated glass, installation equipment and a host of other related products and services, it has served the UK glass and fenestration sector for nearly 30 years. Through economic boom and recession, Glassex has introduced visitors to exhibitors with new products and services, new suppliers and new areas of opportunity, helping to define and increase the market. As the industry has evolved, so has the exhibition and in addition to the existing successful features, seminars and competitions, 2009 will see a host of new features and initiatives to meet the needs of the market.
