JB Windows continues to grow with Selecta Systems

If only the saying ‘your destiny is in your own hands’ was entirely true. Some events like the ongoing economic turmoil are way beyond our control. But Fraser Orris from Selecta fabricator JD Windows, says that window companies can do some things, such as making sure they’re with the right supplier, to improve their chances of success.

“Even the Chancellor admits he can only do so much to combat the credit crunch. But too many companies are using it as an excuse for poor results. We’re not the only Selecta customer to still be growing strongly. We’re busier now than we’ve ever been and prices haven’t been cut or quality compromised. Selecta’s Advance 70 window is five-chambered and engineered in Germany – it has the pedigree and performance to match any other window out there so we don’t have to slash prices just to get a sale when times are tough.”

Fraser concludes: “Hopefully the market will unglue itself, but fabricators shouldn’t count on it – it’s up to us to make sure our suppliers, like Selecta, are giving us the competitive edge to grow in spite of a tough market.”

Over 30 fabricators have switched to Selecta’s Advance 70 in the last 12 months. Mark Richmond, sales director, explains “fabricators can see the benefits of Advance 70’s lead-free, 5 chamber system, but when they realise the resources behind Selecta and our commitment to the UK market, switching to Selecta makes real sense, particularly in a more difficult climate.”
