Delivering the promise Following their recent decision to partner with Deceuninck, Halifax-based business The Ryburne Window Company are already enjoying the benefits to be had from a strong relationship with a proactive business partner. Ryburne will be manufacturing Deceuninck Zendow 3000 window system and the 2500 chamfered window system. Peter Willemse, Ryburne’s Managing Director, explains their reasons for choosing Deceuninck by saying, “Everyone at Ryburne is committed to the company and we all work together to make it a success. We wanted to find a similar level of commitment from the people at our systems supplier and we had a demanding list of requirements. Deceuninck seemed to have everything we needed, especially in terms of the commitment level of the staff, and since the move, they’ve delivered on their promise time and time again.” What does Peter mean by Deceuninck delivering on their promise? Much of it is simply in terms of the day-to-day relationship they have with their new supplier. Ryburne have never worked with a company that plays such a proactive role, checking orders, picking up on human errors and advising on delivery times. In short, little things that make working lives a lot easier. Of course, at a product level, Deceuninck had a lot to offer Ryburne and this had a large part to play in the decision to partner with them. Ryburne know that the products are intelligently designed, plus the range has plenty of products, such as the Twinson decking, that can add value to their portfolio which includes doors, conservatories, conservatory roofs and sealed units as well as windows. They are also confident that the unique Decoroc coating, which is available in an extensive range of RAL colours, will help them to impress an increasingly colour conscious market. As Peter says, “The relationship we have with Deceuninck means we can offer our trade and retail customers the same benefits we’ve always offered: competitively priced products delivered on time and backed up with superb customer service but with a far wider range of products than ever before.” One thing Ryburne had not fully anticipated was the level of business support from Deceuninck. Ryburne’s traditional market base is in the trade and retail sectors, which they primarily target through their impressive trade counter and showroom. However, Deceuninck have a dedicated and experienced commercial team and have given them opportunities to tender for large social housing contracts which will allow Ryburne to extend their market reach and reap the rewards. This support has prompted Ryburne to employ a dedicated commercial sales director whose brief will be to open new doors and develop new contracts backed up with the support from Deceuninck. If you want to succeed in today’s business climate, it is important to know that your suppliers are working hard for you. As Ryburne are finding out, Deceuninck are certainly working hard for them! |
