comfyairCOMFYAIR’S ANNUAL APPEARANCE

Comfyair Ltd is back at Glassex 2009 with its comprehensive range of air conditioning and heating products designed specifically for the conservatory market. This is the company’s eighth consecutive appearance at the exhibition and according to Managing Director, David Clarke, is a calendar date not to be missed.

“The Glassex show has evolved over the years and it has seen its fair share of market fluctuations, but the people in the industry who need to be there, will be there,” he comments. “When we formed the company eight years ago, a key issue was to get established within the industry and raise corporate awareness, and attending Glassex - the largest dedicated exhibition for the fenestration market - was a major part of our marketing campaign; and over the years this strategy has worked. Prior to every show, we increase the marketing and invite our existing and potential new customers to come and visit us on the stand. We benefit from sales of our products, but we also take advantage of the corporate image that the show allows us to maintain.”

Glassex offers a targeted audience and a central and easily accessible venue that Mr. Clarke feels is very important. “People use Glassex not just as an exhibition but as a place to meet, discuss and conclude business…it makes sense to arrange to meet decision makers at Glassex under one roof during these three important days of the year,” he continues.

Comfyair has historically enjoyed an excellent response from the Glassex show, and its dedicated system customer database allows them to track leads and sales. Last year’s show saw the company gaining in excess of £45,000 in sales of products and the anticipation for future business from Glassex 2009 is high.

Glassex 2009 will be held on 17-19 March at the NEC, Birmingham and is the only exhibition dedicated to the UK glass and glazing markets. Featuring the best in doors, windows, conservatories, manufacturing technology, insulated glass, installation equipment and a host of other related products and services, it has served the UK glass and fenestration sector for nearly 30 years. Through economic boom and recession, Glassex has introduced visitors to exhibitors with new products and services, new suppliers and new areas of opportunity, helping to define and increase the market. As the industry has evolved, so has the exhibition and in addition to the existing successful features, seminars and competitions, 2009 will see a host of new features and initiatives to meet the needs of the market.
