ALLBRITE ALL RIGHT FOR GLASSEX
It’s five times in a row for Allbrite UK when they exhibit at Glassex 2009 … and having scooped top honours at last year’s show, expectations for the same success are high. With the coveted accolade of Glassex 2008 Best New Conservatory Product under its belt, the company has seen business increase significantly, and with a company ethos of diversification to augment profitability, it sees Glassex as a vital date in the calendar.
“Last year proved that the show addresses the needs and requirements of the fenestration industry as a whole entity, not just concentrating on the door and window market,” comments Chris Sampson, National Sales Manager at Allbrite. “Our policy is based on product diversification and the focus of the show reflected this, as was shown by the number of serious leads we received and converted into sales.”
Allbrite’s specialist under floor heating systems for conservatories won them the award at the 2008 show, but the company boasts a unique renewable energies section that offers solar water heating, solar electricity generation and low energy lighting. “What we admire about Glassex is the willingness to embrace new technology in order to increase what the industry can offer,” continues Chris. “Many companies are experiencing difficult times at the moment and Glassex allows us the opportunity to offer added value within the same marketplace, giving trade fabricators those all-important alternatives. We supply to the trade a range of bespoke, cost effective and innovative solutions, with option to fit if needed.”
Business has been brisk on the back of last year’s show which Chris puts down to the recognition of the Best Product award and the quality of the visitors. “We always get business from Glassex,” he concludes. “Visitors know that this is a serious chance to find out what is new in the industry. We enjoy a steady stream of serious customers throughout the show, from those who are revisiting to see what we have developed since last time to those who are visiting for the first time. We offer such a diverse range that there is always something for everyone and as a trade exhibition, Glassex is an invaluable medium for our corporate marketing and is a seminal event where we can meet and greet key industry personnel who are dedicated to improving the market.”
Glassex 2009 will be held on 17-19 March at the NEC, Birmingham and is the only exhibition dedicated to the UK glass and glazing markets. Featuring the best in doors, windows, conservatories, manufacturing technology, insulated glass, installation equipment and a host of other related products and services, it has served the UK glass and fenestration sector for nearly 30 years. Through economic boom and recession, Glassex has introduced visitors to exhibitors with new products and services, new suppliers and new areas of opportunity, helping to define and increase the market. As the industry has evolved, so has the exhibition and in addition to the existing successful features, seminars and competitions, 2009 will see a host of new features and initiatives to meet the needs of the market.
