VEKA doubles door salesSales of VEKA’s new Amulet composite more doubled in the first six months since its launch quarter last spring. The high-spec door is not only proving popular with social as well as retail installers but it is also generating very positive feedback from customers, said Sales & Marketing Director Colin Torley. “Competition among composite doors is fierce,” he added. “So it is a testimony to the quality of Amulet that demand is increasing at such a rate. “Amulet not only offers a wider range of styles and colours and higher technical spec than some composite doors. It also has a number of differentiating features such as a mortice lock as standard, a dedicated range of outer frames; it can be ordered online, its finishes match VEKA’s existing window range and it can be incorporated in a frame with VEKA windows without having to couple frames. “It is also designed to meet the standards of PAS023 and 024 and is DDA compliant for disabled users.” The door was one of a broadside of new products launched by VEKA at Glassex, alongside its acclaimed new Vertical Slider and Fully Reversible windows. |
