milaMila Hardware launches new website

Mila Hardware has launched its new website at www.mila.co.uk , following on from the publication of its latest product catalogue The Key 6 last year.

The UK’s leading distributor of hardware to the fenestration industry has developed an informative, user-friendly site which allows visitors to access product details and technical specifications on Mila’s extensive range of window and door hardware – including the new Evolution Kitemarked anti-manipulation cylinder and Evolution high security door handles.

The site allows product literature to be selected and downloaded as required, as well as product sections from The Key 6, or even the entire catalogue. Customers can also download and print potentially valuable product marketing packs which include literature, direct mail postcards, showroom posters and additional product images.

The website showcases Mila’s in-house design and development expertise – with a 3D CAD movie even showing the development of the Evolution high security door hinge. It also emphasises the company’s commitment to customer service and the resources available such as the standard next day delivery service, in house technical and sales teams with dedicated telephone hotlines and independent UKAS accredited Mila Test Centre.

Mila has dedicated sections of the website to highlighting products which customers can use to increase fabrication efficiency and reduce costs, such as the Siegenia Trident Espag which has been proven to reduce fitting time by as much as 30%.

It also demonstrates how customers can maintain a premium offering by differentiating their window and door range with the very latest Mila products which are rigorously tested at the Mila UKAS Test Centre to exceed industry standards.

www.mila.co.uk is being continually updated with new information and even with a Stock Clearance section which includes all current special offers.

Richard Gyde, Mila Hardware’s Managing Director, is very positive about the launch. He said: “The new website reflects exactly what our customers told us they wanted – a regularly updated site where they can instantly access the very latest product and technical information on Mila’s own ‘good, better, best’ product ranges and on the Siegenia Aubi, Paddock, KFV and Cotswold branded products which we also distribute.

“It has been designed and developed in house by our own specialist marketing team and will be regularly updated by them throughout 2009 to reflect both the innovation within the business and changes taking place in the marketplace.”
