Eecocobuild sparks rooftop demonstrations

Every day at Ecobuild next month, Schüco International will be staging roof top demonstrations… showing visitors how to install solar panels on a specially-built roof rig as part of the Solar City attraction.

Throughout the event, trained Schüco installers will be demonstrating the installation of the solar panels that power the Schüco Compact Line solar thermal system for domestic hot water. This system will normally generate savings of up to two-thirds of the energy required for hot water and general heating in homes, and can be retrofitted to existing properties.

Solar City, which gives visitors the chance to experience and evaluate the very latest in solar technology, is one of more than a dozen interactive and inspiring attractions at Ecobuild, including Off-grid Living, courtesy of Zedfactory; Renew, from refurbishment specialists GIA and Apollo Group; Natural Materials, by Carpenter Oak, and Cityscape, with MacFarlane Wilder’s ‘A River Runs Through…’ installation.

The attractions are complemented by a series of more than 100 seminars and conference sessions – all free when you register for Ecobuild – and the biggest showcase of sustainable construction products in the world in the Ecobuild exhibition.
