G17 judges close to decision
31st October 2017

Less than three weeks to go to the high-point of the industry year, the G17 Awards, and judges are close to reaching their final decisions on which of the 64 individual and company finalists will step into the spotlight at the gala event on Friday November 17.

Organiser Tony Higgin said: “These are the only major awards in the industry to be subject to the scrutiny of professional, independent judges and this involves many site visits as well as examination of written evidence, which will continue almost up to the Awards event itself.

“No one but the judges will know all the results until then but we understand that many categories are proving to be a very close call so nothing is by any means certain.”

Also, this year for the first time, outside the usual award categories, The Glass & Glazing Federation will be presenting its Lifetime Achievement Award, a special accolade initiated to mark the organisation’s 40th anniversary.

All the winners will be revealed at the G17 Gala Dinner and Awards Evening, hosted by comedian Russell Kane at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday November 17.
