Hardware masterclass for Scots specifiers

More than 30 social housing specifiers from across Scotland attended the first in the series of CMS Technical Masterclass seminars, with hardware specialist YALE DOOR & WINDOW SOLUTIONS presenting the latest insights.

The seminar provided professionals at all levels of social housing building, maintenance and management with an update on the key standards and regulations that affect window and door hardware specification decisions, plus an introduction to some of the latest innovations available.

The first in a series of four seminars held at the CMS Innovation Hub, the Technical Masterclass programme connects housing specifiers with the UK’s leading product and system manufacturers to share knowledge and insights for meeting today’s building fabric challenges. These are hardware specialist Yale, glazing market leader Glassolutions Saint-Gobain, PVC-U systems pioneer Sheerframe and insulation systems manufacturer Rockwool.

The next CMS Technical Masterclass takes place on in May and will cover the latest glass and glazing developments. It will be hosted in conjunction with Glassolutions Saint-Gobain.
