ERA has achieved the Investors in People Gold accreditation. The manufacturer first achieved IIP status in 2014 and now its Gold accreditation indicates ‘even higher performance in people management, which is benchmarked against global industry practice’.

Human Resources director Nicky Purba said: “We lead by example and actively encourage open communication via regular staff meetings with elected departmental representatives and senior management. This has enabled us to empower our team to make decisions and to act upon them with confidence.

‘In addition, we can see a direct correlation to business performance and Investors in People. It has enabled us to recruit high calibre personnel which has in turn improved our productivity.”
