QUANTUM WINDOWS CELEBRATES 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Quantum Windows, the Corby-based manufacturer of PVC-U and aluminium windows and doors, will quietly celebrate 20 years of trading on 1st August this year.

Now operating from a 78,000 sq ft factory on a 3.5 acre site, the Eurocell fabricator has moved on considerably from its humble beginnings in 1992.

Quantum was started by lifelong friends Tony Britten (pictured) and Chris Ashman and now employs 70 people, manufacturing the full Eurocell PVC-U product range, alongside Beaufort Aluminium Systems.

Sadly, Chris lost his life in a tragic accident just over two years ago and although his loss to the business and employees is still felt, Quantum remains strong and continues to move forward.

A key area of Quantum’s success over the years has been its ability to maintain long term relationships with suppliers and customers alike, with some having been there for 20 years.

Tony Britten said: “In difficult times we remain a strong regional fabricator of both PVC-U and aluminium products and are now a major player in the PVC-U bi-fold and vertical slider markets. We thank our customers for the last 20 years and wish them continued success.”

The company offers a wide range of products specifically developed to allow the professional installer to help customers meet all thermal, security and aesthetic requirements.

Quantum Windows currently holds British Standards Kitemark and BBA certification across a range of products, which demonstrates its ongoing commitment to investing back into the business.

With its own transport fleet, Quantum Windows is able to deliver on call off direct to site, giving installers the confidence that they can meet their commitment to the end customer.

Specialist products offered by Quantum Windows include Eurocell Charisma vertical sliders and the new Aspect bi-fold door.

Quantum Windows holds Secured by Design status across its Eurocell top hung, side hung casement and tilt / turn windows, along with the Charisma Vertical Slider. The company’s Eurocell open in and open out single doors achieve PAS 23 / 24, whilst inward and outward opening French doors achieve PAS 24 standard.

Quantum has been a Eurocell fabricator for five years and offers the full range of Eurocell windows, conservatory roofs, doors and accessories.
