GLASSOLUTIONS – formerly Solaglas – has announced plans to grow its share of the interior glass market and will be exhibiting its extensive product range at 100% Design in September.

The Saint-Gobain Group company is the largest processor, distributor, installer and repairer of glass and glass systems in the UK, and has enhanced its interior glass range as part of an ongoing £2 million manufacturing, operational and product development investment programme.

The interior glass products on stand E200 will provide exciting wide-ranging creative options for applications such as partitioning, doors, floors, balustrades, wall cladding, signage, table tops, shelving, screens and feature glazing for commercial and residential markets.

Kathryn Dalgleish, GLASSOLUTIONS marketing manager for the commercial sector, said, "Around a third of glass used in commercial buildings is used inside the building so we are investing heavily to expand our capability in this area. It complements our external glazing offering and provides a complete service to our customers.

“We’ve been successfully supplying the interior glass market from our specialist manufacturing operation in the south east of England for more than 30 years. The £2 million investment programme means we will be able to supply an even wider market with a broader range of interior glass products that provide dramatic effect and design impact to a project.”

Products on show include the UK manufactured and highly versatile fire-resistant glass products CONTRAFLAM® (pictured) and PYROSWISS®, which can be used to create stylish and decorative interiors as well as stunning facades.

New products that will be launched at 100% Design include CREA-LITE® moulded glass which incorporates colour and texture for high impact interiors and facades and TEX GLASS®, a laminated glass with fabrics and metallic meshes encapsulated inside.
