FIT clicks for hybrid system

ALUPLAST will officially launch its Ideal 4000 PVC-U system, the and its new aluskin aluminium cladding system at the FIT Show in May.

The system, first introduced to the UK in September, includes aluskin, a ‘clip-and-fix’ aluminium finishing system said to allow PVC-U fabricators to manufacture an aluminium-clad PVC-U casement window without specialist equipment, opening-up access to new market sectors, and allow aluminium system fabricators to manufacture a thermally efficient WER A+ window read here.

Ian Cocken, Director of Sales and Marketing, aluplast said, the German-owned systems house’s decision to attend the expo for the first time this May signalled “the importance with which it held the UK window and door industry”.

He said: “The UK window and door industry is a key global market for aluplast and we are committed to a long term investment and development strategy. This is reflected in the launch of two new systems this year and in in our decision to attend the FIT Show.

“In the Ideal 4000 casement system, we’re bringing to market an exceptional contemporary SquareLine design PVC-U system in its own right but through aluskin ,extending its reach further into new and what are high margin markets for fabricators.”
