Hot new order system
31st January 2012

New World Developments has introduced a new internal order system to handle growing demand for contract orders.

Designed for multi-resident and local authority dwellings with Secure by Design certification, Isolate is specified by local authority specifiers keen to tackle growing fire concerns over medium to high rise flats.

Now the company has ensured that multiple ordering of its contract fire doors is streamlined to facilitate a swift and efficient customer experience. The new electronic order system ends the need for the company’s surveyors to provide hand written orders, dramatically reducing the amount of paperwork required and the time involved in preparing it.

Said New World MD Asa McGillian: “The demand for fire doors has increased as fire concerns regarding high rise and medium rise dwellings have become more of an issue. Local authorities are replacing a lot of their housing stock with fire doors.

“In order to provide the best possible service, our in-house IT team has developed a bespoke order system that reduces the time and complication involved in handling multiple contract orders and, at the same time vastly reduces any margin for errors.”

Isolate is a 44mm thick door leaf made up of two GRP skins with an engineered timber core set into a 70mm hardwood frame which is tested to BS EN 942. The outer skin features a distinctive grain definition and moulding detail and is available in seven styles in a range of colours.

It is also available as a glazed door in four styles with a single glazed cassette
of 7mm clear fire-resistant Pyroglass.

Isolate fire doors are completely maintenance free and feature multi-point, high security locking mechanisms and discreet flush fit 2D hinges.
