New way to achieve SBD Certification

CENSolutions, together with ER Certification and Wintech, now offers certification to satisfy the requirements of Secured by Design (SBD).

Wayne Rogerson, joint managing director of CENSolutions, said: “We are thrilled to add the Secured by Design certification to our already wide range of services.

“One of the main objections we hear from window and door manufacturers interested in achieving SBD is that charges by current certification providers are prohibitively high. We can address this by using the benefits of our low overhead business model to give customers a much more cost effective way of achieving the certification.

“Our CMS Quality Mark saw rapid growth during 2011 as manufacturers realised they could achieve a more assured level of compliance at a significantly reduced cost. During 2012 we plan to build on this success by launching a new series of products that will include the CMS Mark being offered at three levels - Gold, Silver and Bronze. We will be releasing more information about these schemes very soon, but the Secured by Design certification forms an important part of this new package.”
