Door demand

Mila has introduced a new set of spindles and screws for its range of ProLinea door handles which means they can now be fitted quickly and easily to composite doors.
The move comes in response to demand from a number of composite door fabricators, some of whom have, until now, been cutting down the standard spindles and screws supplied for fitting to PVC-U doors because they like the styling and quality of the popular handles so much.
Mila says that fabricators will receive two sets of spindle and screw packs with the handles to suit either PVC-U or composite doors – saving time and effort on installation.
The ProLinea handles continue to be one of Mila’s best selling handle ranges – offering a combination of contemporary styling and operational reliability with a spring module built into the backplate so that the lever always returns to 90º after use.
Richard Gyde, managing director of Mila Hardware, said: “The growth in the composite door market has prompted us to review our product ranges to ensure that they continue to meet the specific demands of this sector.
“The mid range ProLinea handles are a really popular choice with manufacturers and consumers so of course we have responded with a simple and neat fitting solution.”
