Two-decade partnership

MD Joinery has become the latest company to celebrate 20 years in partnership with Rehau. The Southport based trade and retail fabricator began manufacturing in Rehau S706 profile in 1991.

Mike Durkin, the founder and managing director of the company, received an engraved trophy and a certificate to mark the occasion from Rehau area sales manager Tony Ball at a presentation ceremony held recently.

Mike said: “MD Joinery is a family business with an outstanding reputation for quality and service. Rehau has proved the perfect partner for us over the past 20 years – delivering the quality products we need with excellent service and support direct from the regional sales office in Manchester.

“We continue to innovate and expand and Rehau is an important part of our ongoing success. For example, we have added coloured foiled profiles to our range recently, along with Rehau Heritage vertical sliders and multi-fold doors – all of which are proving very popular in both our trade and retail markets.”

Tony Ball said: “Rehau itself is just about to celebrate 25 years of manufacturing in the UK so it’s great to be able to share some of our anniversary celebrations with loyal customers like MD Joinery.”
