Following the ground breaking integration of Bowater Building Products into the VEKA Group, VEKA UK is now recruiting for the position of Head Of Technical.

The Company
The VEKA Group, with twelve factories spread across the globe, is the world’s leading designer and extruder of high quality PVCu products. Our UK division with sites based in Burnley, Birmingham and Coventry, employs over 350 people and supplies customers nationwide.

The Role
Joining the Senior Management Team based out of the Burnley site and reporting to the UK Board, the role will lead a multisite team in the technical development of both the VEKA and Halo brands, coupled with new product investment and customer development.

Driven by customer excellence, the role and department is responsible for research, design, development and customer support, delivering a fully integrated dynamic technical function.

The Person
Candidates should be able to demonstrate proactive and proven methods of managing, motivating and leading people. Graduate calibre with recent relevant industry knowledge and experience within a similar level role.

This is a highly responsible position; requiring a committed, positive and enthusiastic individual, capable of making sound business decisions.
